Nordea is offering a Legal Internship in our Banking & Compliance legal team in Helsinki. You will gain hands-on experience with financial regulation, including the Luottolaitoslaki (Credit Institutions Act), AML compliance, and securities law.

This internship provides excellent exposure to in-house legal practice at the Nordics' largest bank. Interns work on real projects alongside experienced lawyers and compliance professionals.

Responsibilities

Support the legal team on banking regulatory matters and compliance projects. Conduct research on the Luottolaitoslaki and EU financial regulation. Assist with contract review and legal documentation. Draft internal legal memoranda and policy summaries. Participate in compliance monitoring and testing activities.

Requirements

OTM student (4th year or above) or recent graduate from a Finnish university. Coursework in banking law, financial regulation, or compliance. Interest in a career in financial services legal. Fluent in Finnish and English.

€1,800 - €2,300/year
