Job Description
CMS Budapest is hiring an Energy and Natural Resources Lawyer to work on high-profile energy transactions and regulatory matters. The position offers exposure to renewable energy projects, oil and gas licensing, and energy market liberalisation across the CEE region.
Responsibilities
Advise on regulatory approvals for energy projects including wind, solar, and geothermal installations. Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements and energy supply contracts. Support M&A transactions in the energy sector. Advise on Hungarian Energy Office (MEKH) regulatory proceedings. Assist with carbon trading and emissions compliance matters.
Requirements
Hungarian law degree with 3-6 years of experience in energy law. Understanding of Hungarian Energy Act and EU energy directives. Experience with power purchase agreements and renewable energy projects preferred. Strong English and Hungarian language skills.
