Job Description
The Norwegian Competition Authority (Konkurransetilsynet) in Bergen seeks a Competition Analyst to evaluate merger notifications and investigate potential anticompetitive conduct in Norwegian markets.
Responsibilities
Analyze merger notifications and prepare recommendations for the authority. Investigate suspected cartels and abuse of dominance cases. Conduct market studies and economic analysis. Draft decisions and participate in oral hearings.
Requirements
Norwegian law degree or economics degree required. 2-5 years of experience in competition law or economics. Knowledge of the Norwegian Competition Act and EU competition rules. Strong analytical and research skills.
