Job Description
The Magyar Nemzeti Bank is recruiting a Legal Analyst for its Consumer Protection Division. The role involves investigating consumer complaints against financial institutions and ensuring compliance with Hungarian consumer protection standards in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
Investigate consumer complaints against banks, insurers, and financial service providers. Prepare case analyses and draft supervisory decisions. Monitor compliance of financial institutions with consumer protection requirements. Contribute to the development of MNB consumer protection guidelines. Participate in financial literacy and consumer awareness initiatives.
Requirements
Hungarian law degree with 1-3 years of experience in consumer protection or financial regulation. Knowledge of Hungarian consumer credit legislation and MNB consumer protection regulations. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Hungarian citizenship required. English proficiency preferred.
