Legal Counsel – Energy & ESG Compliance
SK Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its General Counsel Office at SK Building, Jongno-gu, Seoul. You will provide legal support across SK's energy transition portfolio — including SK Innovation's EV battery business, SK E&S's hydrogen initiatives, and SK Earthon's E&P operations — with a focus on ESG compliance and sustainability regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise SK Group subsidiaries on Korean and international ESG disclosure requirements, including ISSB sustainability standards
- Draft and review joint venture and supply agreements for SK's EV battery, hydrogen, and renewable energy projects
- Monitor Korean carbon pricing regulations under the Emissions Trading Scheme and advise on compliance strategies
- Support SK Innovation's global battery plant investments (US, Hungary, China) with regulatory and compliance advice
- Advise on Korean Environmental Impact Assessment Act and hazardous materials regulations for energy facilities
Requirements
- Korean 변호사 licence with 3-5 years of energy, environmental, or corporate law experience
- Knowledge of Korean environmental regulations and international ESG frameworks (TCFD, GRI, ISSB)
- Experience with project finance, joint ventures, or M&A in the energy sector
- English proficiency for cross-border project coordination

₩8,000,000 - ₩12,000,000/year
