Internship Description

Paid Internship | Duration: 3-4 months | Start: September 2026

Eligibility: OTM students who have completed at least 4 years of study, or recent graduates awaiting Tuomioistuinharjoittelu placement.

Krogerus is recruiting a Legal Trainee for our Corporate and Technology practice groups in Helsinki. You will gain experience in M&A transactions, technology licensing, venture capital investments, and startup advisory work.

Krogerus has a strong reputation for mentoring young lawyers. Our trainee program combines practical legal work with structured training sessions on Finnish corporate law (Osakeyhtiölaki), IP law, and professional skills.

Responsibilities

Support lawyers on M&A and venture capital transactions. Conduct legal research on the Osakeyhtiölaki and technology-related legislation. Draft due diligence reports and transaction summaries. Assist with technology licensing agreements and IP matters. Participate in Krogerus training sessions and professional development activities.

Requirements

OTM student (4th year or above) or recent graduate from a Finnish university. Strong academic record with interest in corporate or technology law. Knowledge of the Osakeyhtiölaki (Companies Act) and IP legislation. Fluent in Finnish and English.
