Job Description
UniCredit Bulbank is hiring a Paralegal to support its Loan Documentation team. The role involves preparing and reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and ancillary banking documentation. This is an ideal position for an organized and detail-oriented legal professional who wants to build a career in banking law within one of Bulgaria's most prominent financial institutions.
Responsibilities
Preparing and formatting loan agreements, promissory notes, and security packages; Reviewing documentation completeness before loan disbursement; Coordinating notarial certifications and registration of security interests; Maintaining the digital archive of loan documentation; Tracking amendment and renewal deadlines for existing facilities; Communicating with notaries, the Registry Agency, and Central Depository; Assisting legal counsel with due diligence document collection.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification; 1-2 years of experience in a banking legal department or law firm (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience considered); Basic knowledge of the Obligations and Contracts Act and security law (pledges, mortgages); Familiarity with the Credit Institutions Act; Proficient in Bulgarian and English; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
