Responsibilities
- Advise on Banco Central do Brasil (BCB) regulations including capital adequacy (Basel III implementation), liquidity requirements, and prudential rules
- Monitor and assess regulatory developments from BCB, CMN (Conselho Monetário Nacional), and CVM
- Draft regulatory opinions on new financial products, digital banking, Pix integrations, and open finance (Open Banking Brasil)
- Coordinate regulatory filings, licence renewals, and BCB supervisory processes
- Advise on data privacy compliance (LGPD) in banking operations and fintech partnerships
Requirements
- Bacharel em Direito; OAB registration; postgraduate in banking/financial law preferred
- 8–12 years' experience in banking regulation at a major bank or leading law firm
- Deep knowledge of BCB regulations, CMN resolutions, and financial sector legislation
- Fluent English; experience with international regulatory frameworks (Basel, FSB) valued
Compensation
R$30,000 - R$42,000/year
