Všeobecná úverová banka (VÚB banka) is the second-largest bank in Slovakia, headquartered at Mlynské nivy 1, Bratislava, in the Nivy business quarter near the new Nivy bus station and shopping complex. A subsidiary of Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo Group, VÚB employs approximately 3,500 people and provides universal banking, leasing, and asset management services. The legal division handles banking regulation, capital markets compliance, corporate M&A advisory, and cross-border EU regulatory matters.
