Job Description
Leks&Co Lawyers is seeking an Associate for its Property & Construction practice at the Pakuwon Tower in Surabaya's central business district. Based in Indonesia's second-largest city, you will advise on real estate transactions, property development, construction contracts, and land acquisition under UU Pertanahan and the Omnibus Law (UU Cipta Kerja).
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review property sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, and strata title documentation
- Advise developers on land acquisition procedures and BPN (National Land Agency) filings
- Handle construction disputes before the Pengadilan Negeri Surabaya
- Advise on AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment) for development projects
- Research East Java regional regulations (Perda) affecting property development
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised Indonesian university (UNAIR, UB, or equivalent preferred)
- Admitted as Advokat by PERADI
- 3-5 years experience in property, construction, or real estate law
- Knowledge of BPN procedures and UU Pertanahan
- Based in or willing to relocate to Surabaya
Responsibilities
