Job Description
DNC Chambers is seeking a Conveyancing and Property Lawyer to handle land and property transactions in its Blantyre CBD office. Malawi's growing real estate sector demands specialist conveyancing expertise across freehold, leasehold and customary land matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle property transfers, lease agreements and mortgage registrations
- Conduct title searches at the Lands Registry in Blantyre and Lilongwe
- Advise on the Registered Land Act, Land Act and Customary Land Act
- Liaise with the Ministry of Lands and District Land Registries
Requirements
- LLB and admitted by the Malawi Law Society
- 3+ years conveyancing experience
- Strong knowledge of Malawian land legislation
