Job Description
Obeid & Partners, a leading MENA dispute resolution firm founded in 1987, seeks a Junior Associate for its Construction Law practice. The firm is particularly well known for construction disputes and this role offers direct exposure to major infrastructure and real estate projects in Lebanon and the wider region.
Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing and drafting construction contracts, including FIDIC-based agreements. Support senior lawyers on construction dispute proceedings and arbitrations. Research Lebanese construction law and building permit regulations. Prepare legal opinions on contractor and employer liabilities. Assist with claims management and delay analysis.
Requirements
Licence en Droit from a recognized Lebanese university. Completion of the stagiaire training period and admission to the Beirut Bar Association. 1-2 years of experience in construction or real estate law preferred. Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency required. Understanding of FIDIC contract forms and Lebanese construction regulations.
