Job Description
Mopani Copper Mines plc seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to lead all commercial and mining legal matters for its Kitwe-based operations. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will oversee mining licence compliance, government relations, major procurement contracts and corporate governance for this ZCCM-IH controlled mining company.

Responsibilities
- Lead all mining licence and regulatory compliance matters with MMDA
- Oversee commercial contracts, EPC agreements and supplier negotiations
- Manage external counsel and litigation portfolio
- Advise the Board and Managing Director on legal risk
Requirements
- LLB plus LLM or equivalent; mining law expertise preferred
- Minimum 7 years post-admission experience including 3+ years in mining
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
